What are the factors that affect stainless steel deburring equipment?

Whether using stainless steel deburring equipment, cutting deburring, or rotating deburring, the angle of the knife is an important factor affecting the effectiveness of deburring. According to the structural characteristics of the deburring machine designed in this article, selecting the appropriate cylinder pressure is also one of the main factors determining the effectiveness of deburring removal.


2.1 Tool angle.


The burrs at the front end of the casting billet are shot down by high-speed rotation of the rotating blade. Four blades are evenly arranged around the rotation axis, but the direction of the blades is at the angular position of the rotation axis centerline.


The burrs on the back end of the casting blank are scraped off by a flat scraper of the stainless steel deburring equipment. In order to adapt to the belly deformation of the casting blank, the placement of two flat blades is tilted towards the center, with a horizontal line at a certain angle α and a micro V-shape, which can protect the surface of the casting blank from damage and effectively remove burrs.

2.2 Cylinder pressure.


According to the process flow of the combination billet deburring machine, when the equipment is in standby position, the cylinder axis is perpendicular to the ground, and the stroke reaches the Z value, the structure should remain horizontal. The stainless steel deburring equipment can calculate the required thrust size of the cylinder through the torque balance formula, and then calculate the required pressure size of the cylinder based on the piston cross-sectional area.


The online burr removal method for continuous casting of generous blanks considers the different directions of burrs at the front and back ends of the casting blank. By combining deburring and rotational removal methods, the front and rear ends of the casting blank are separated during transportation, resulting in outstanding deburring removal effects. When removing burrs, there is no need to stop casting blanks. The equipment has a simple structure, small size, and easy maintenance. It can be easily set between the two rollers of the roller conveyor without affecting the placement of other equipment and the production rhythm of steel billets. This equipment has been applied to the continuous casting production line of Shaogang's generous steel billets and has achieved excellent stainless steel burr removal equipment effect.
