What are the impacts of improper operation on automatic polishing machines?
In the process of using an automatic polishing machine, sometimes improper operation or other reasons can have a certain impact on the use of the automatic polishing machine. So, what are the main impacts? Below, the polishing machine manufacturer will analyze:
When performing polishing operations, the following points should be noted:
Poor speed control of automatic polishing machine may cause paint to be worn through
When polishing, it is necessary to strictly control the speed of the polishing machine. For skilled technicians, the paint surface of the steel plate can be controlled between 2500-4000 revolutions per minute, and the paint surface of the plastic part should not exceed 1800 revolutions per minute. For unskilled technicians, the paint surface of the steel plate should be controlled between 1500-2500 revolutions per minute, and the paint surface of the plastic part should be controlled between 1000-1200 revolutions per minute.
Otherwise, the high temperature generated by excessive speed may cause damage to the paint surface, and even wear through the original factory paint surface, resulting in irreparable losses. The effective polishing sequence is from inside to outside, from top to bottom, and complete the task by circling around the vehicle.

Strictly select abrasives and grinding discs
Before polishing, carefully check the condition of the paint surface. Select different grinding discs and abrasives based on the size of paint scratches, degree of damage, paint thickness, wear resistance, and other specific conditions.
Water based abrasives should not cover small flower marks. When grinding, try to ensure that the grinding disc is in contact with the surface of the paint surface. When the abrasive dries and adheres to the surface of the paint, spray a small amount of water on the grinding disc before grinding.
Oil based abrasives can cover small flower marks and are less likely to burn dry and adhere to the paint surface. After grinding, degreasing water is needed to remove the grease before making crystal plating and coating products. Otherwise, the crystal plating and coating cannot adhere well to the car paint surface and are easily cleaned.
In the case of relatively large scratches on the paint surface, a wool disc with coarse abrasive (4 μ m) can be used; Moderate scratches can be treated with coarse sponge balls combined with medium abrasives (2 μ m); Fine scratches can be polished using a fine sponge ball combined with a fine abrasive (0.8 μ m).
In general, using moderate abrasives combined with wool discs for grinding, and then using fine abrasives combined with sponge balls for grinding, "targeted" polishing can achieve better results on the paint surface.
From the above introduction, it can be seen that improper operation can have a significant impact on the automatic polishing machine. Therefore, when using the automatic polishing machine, users should follow the regulations and not be too casual. They should also pay attention to relevant precautions to ensure correct operation.
